You know, as much of a joke that this is, I can’t help agreeing. I really hate it when people talk about skinny girls as though they are all fake and vain and horrible people. Sure there are people who strive for skinny, but some of us could try harder than ever to gain weight and it would never happen. Then when people go on this “real women” rampage, it comes off as this attack on skinny people. I know that the intention is to show that all types can be beautiful - which is true, but sometimes I just sit there watching these and wonder, “Am I supposed to feel guilty for having this body?” I feel self-conscious just like anybody else, and get attacked for that. I mean I am by no means perfect, and shopping is frustrating for me as it is for anybody else. Fate made up for my body with other insecurities. I have greasy hair, sweaty palms and feet, and worst of all, acne. The pill that I am on now is the fourth one that I’ve tried in order to get rid of it. So this is a meme that I kind of take seriously.
